Through the Psalms: For God is my defense

David’s home was not even safe haven for him. Saul’s hatred of his self-proclaimed enemy caused David to always beware, ready to flee immediately. God had been David’s defender and deliverer. We may not have a Saul chasing us, but there are many different enemies. There is the enemy of cancer, the enemy of mental illness, or the enemies of enemies, the devil himself. God is our defender and deliverer, as He is our provider and protector. Take to Him, your cares and your burdens.
