Through the Psalms: I would rather be a doorkeeper in God’s house

There were those that lived close to and served in the house of God regularly. Israelites that lived outside of Jerusalem made regular pilgrimages to Jerusalem, to be in God’s house. Does being in God’s house matter to me? “For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand.”
